The Collection encompasses an exciting variety of high quality sunglasses produced under license by Rodenstock the internationally renowned manufacturer of spectacle frames, lenses and sunglasses.
You can choose from 20 fashionable metal and plastic styles as well as from six lens colours that include contrast enhancing brown or green as well as neutral grey, classic pilot green or high fashion multi-graduated tints. There is also a silver mirror coating upgrade available.

Wimbledon Sunglasses are offered with plain or prescription lenses: single vision, bifocal or varifocal. The range of prescription lenses also includes premium higher index thinner and lighter lenses to provide optimum wearing and vision comfort. Other prescription options include polarised single vision and varifocal lenses. All lenses are 100% UV protective and are manufactured with a scratch resistant coating as standard.

Highest vision comfort in every light; inside and out

ColorMaticTM plastic photochromic lenses automatically adjust their tint density to varying light conditions. They have a pale tint indoors and react fast in the sun to provide a darker tint, then fade quickly again in the shade.

There is a choice of two highly popular standard colours: brown and grey. These colours will remain stable and retain their attractive hue at high or low temperatures. (Note: extreme heat may temporarily inhibit the photochromic performance).


When supplied with an anti-reflection coating, they are also fully suitable for night driving and meet the requirements of the corresponding DIN EN ISO standards. Wearers can also choose ColorMaticTM Contrast which darkens to a high fashion orange hue; although this lens is not suitable for night driving.

ColorMaticTM lenses provide 100% UVA and UVB protection and block wavelengths up to 400nm in all stages of activation. The tint absorption ranges from a pale hue in the faded state up to 85% when fully activated (EN ISO 8980 at 23 degrees C, depending on the climatic and ambient light conditions at the time.

These features make ColorMaticTM lenses the ideal choice for the prescription spectacle wearer who requires tinted lenses with greater versatility.
